Welcome | Founder - Dave Jorgensen Dave Jorgensen has been working in the environmental industry since 1984. Dave graduated from Lakeland and Lethbridge Community Colleges in Natural and Social Sciences of the Agricultural Program and has since worked for more than 300 companies in the oil and gas industry across western Canada. Dave has worked on reclamation, remediation, pipeline inspection (including domestic and international) environmental auditing, water well testing, sump treatment and disposal, pre-planning, pre-site assessments and Phase 1,2 and 3 ESAs. Dave has good experience and knowledge of the sensitive areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Dave has strong communication skills with landowners, industry representatives and government personnel. Dave is one of the longest standing consultants with the Orphan Well Association that requires high quality performance and safety protocol to meet their goals. In 1999, Dave incorporated Jorgensen Land Management (JLM) and manages and coordinates a team of environmental professionals that complete various environmental projects within Alberta and Saskatchewan. Dave's role includes developing and overseeing the execution of the scope of work. Delegation of individuals in proper roles, timeline efficiency, and cost controls. Ensuring the value is intact along with the protection of Environment and public safety. Assist reviewers and setting scopes of projects. Project planning, work scope control, project execution, industry expertise coordination and bringing in additional professionals if required (risk assessors, wildlife biologist etc) health & safety coordination, reviewing daily updates and future planning. Work with public and questions as per our environmental process. Solve problems and find cost effective solutions. |
